Vaqueras to third place in Puerto Rico

NARANJITO, Puerto Rico, April 22, 2018 – Vaqueras ascended to third place in the standings of the Puerto Rican Women’s Federation Cup after defeating Pinkin in straight sets 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-21).

Both Vaqueras and Pinkin have 8 total points but Vaqueras show a better win-loss mark at 5-3 than Pinkin’s 2-6.

Youngster Sofía Victoriá López led Vaqueras with 15 points.

The actions of the Puerto Rican Federation Cup continues on Sunday at Gelito Ortega Pavilion of Naranjito when Llaneras meet Lancheras in the women’s segment while Leones go against Criollos in the men’s field.
