United States Powers Past Dominican Republic to
Reach the Continental Championship Final
SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, August 25,
2026.- The United States advanced to the gold
medal match of the 2026 NORCECA Women’s
Continental Championship after defeating the
Dominican Republic in straight sets 3-0 (25-19,
25-18, 25-10) at the Prof. Ricardo Gioriver
Arias Volleyball Palace. The United States will
face Canada this Wednesday for the championship,
with the Americans seeking their eighth NORCECA
Continental Championship title. Canada will be
looking to capture its first-ever title in the
competition.

United States Rallies Past Canada in Five Sets to Remain
Undefeated
PONCE, Puerto Rico, August 25, 2026.- The United States rallied
from a two-set deficit to defeat Canada 3-2 (17-25, 22-25,
25-21, 25-19, 15-11), earning its third consecutive victory at
the NORCECA Men’s Final Six at the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns
Auditorium. The United States remains undefeated with a 3-0
record, while Canada dropped to 1-2. The United States held a
slight advantage in attacks (55-54) and led in blocks (10-7),
while Canada had the edge in aces (9-3). Canada committed 36
errors compared to 31 by the United States.
