19 countries to compete in Men's Beach Volleyball at the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, July 23, 2026 – The men's beach volleyball tournament at the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games will begin this Saturday at 9:00 a.m. (local time) with 19 pairs competing for the top spot on the podium.

Mexico, gold medalist in the last edition, is coming to defend its title, but this time with a new pair: Carlos Ayala and Antonio Lares.

The Nicaraguans Jefferson Cascante and Rubén Mora, silver medalists in San Salvador 2023, are ready to give their all to reach the top position.

The competition system divided the teams into four groups, three with five pairs and one with four. The first and second place teams from each group will play in the round of 16, while the last two will play in the consolation round.

Group Composition

Group A: Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Guatemala, Grenada

Group B: Mexico, Costa Rica, U.S. Virgin Islands, Bermuda, Cayman Islands

Group C: Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Honduras, Martinique

Group D: El Salvador, Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda
