Humana and Pischke cop Tobago gold
COURLAND, Tobago, November 16, 2014 - Canada-A
pair, Melissa Humana and Taylor Pischke captured the women’s
title by outdueling Cubans Lianma Flores and Leila Martinez in
the tenth and final NORCECA
Beach Volleyball Circuit at
the scenic Turtle Beach, Black Rock Heritage Park.
Humana and Pischke, using clever attacks and never-say-die
attitude on defence triumphed 21-17, 19-21, 15-7.
Commenting on their victory, the Canadian women who also won the
fourth leg on the tour in Manzanillo, Mexico said they were just
elated to get the victory and join their men’s team at the top
of the podium.

Canadians Schalk and Saxton take Tobago men’s title
COURLAND, Tobago, November 16, 2014 - Canada-A duo Chaim Schalk
and Ben Saxton completed a memorable weekend when they brushed
aside USA-A Jacob Gibb and Casey Patterson in the final of the
tenth and final leg of the 2014 NORCECA
Beach Volleyball Circuit at Turtle
Beach, Black Rock Heritage Park.
In a clash of the top two ranked teams, Schalk and Saxton took
charge of each set early on before securing a 21-13, 21-17 win. Speaking after the win, their first of the season, Saxton said
it was a good end to an amazing weekend.

Nivaldo Diaz, three-time winners this year at the 2014 NORCECA
Men’s Beach Volleyball Circuit, are one of the semifinalist
teams of the tenth and final event of the year at Turtle Beach,
Black Rock Heritage Park. Gonzalez and Diaz, who triumphed in Guatemala City.

COURLAND, Tobago, November 14, 2014 - Canada, USA and Puerto
Rico, the three men’s team in the running for the overall team
title each had teams to end the first day of the tenth and final
leg of the 2014 NORCECA
Beach Volleyball Circuit with 2-0 records. This despite, play being marred by persistent showers at the
scenic Turtle Beach, Black Rock Heritage Park as rain played a
key role in the day’s proceedings as the tournament officials
had to take the decision to play most of the afternoon matches

Historic climax of Norceca Beach tour serves off in Tobago
COURLAND, Tobago, November 13, 2014 - The 2014 season of the
NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit will conclude from today with
the historic staging of the tenth and final leg at the
scenic Turtle Beach, Black Rock Heritage Park, Courland, Tobago
from Friday November 14 until Sunday November 16. This will be the second straight season the tour will be ending
in Trinidad and Tobago, but the first time on the sister-island
having done so last year at Maracas Bay, also in Trinidad. The double gender tournament will also feature a record number
of teams for Trinidad and Tobago, 41 in total, comprising 24 men

Two teams seeking their fourth crowns of the year
PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, November
12,
2014 – Trinidad & Tobago will host the NORCECA Beach Volleyball
Circuit Season Finale for the second consecutive year as the
tenth stop of double gender event takes place from November
12-17. Twenty two men’s teams and nineteen women’s teams hailing from
twenty-three countries will take part in the competition.
