Dalhausser/Lucena win duel with Pedlow/O’Gorman

TURTLE BEACH, Tobago, November 22, 2015 – USA’s Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena came from behind to pull a dramatic 2-1 (18-21, 21-15, 19-17) victory over Canada’s Sam Pedlow and Grant O’Gorman in the men’s gold medal contest of Tobago Beach Volleyball Tournament, the final stage of the 2015 NORCECA Circuit. Canadians Broder and Valjas crowned in Tobago

TURTLE BEACH, Tobago, November 22, 2015 – Canadians Jamie Broder and Kristina Valjas combined in admirable form to win the women’s gold medal at the Tobago Beach Volleyball Tournament, the final event of the 2015 NORCECA Circuit. Broder/Valjas played excellent defense and served with accurate precision to beat Lauren Fendrick and Brooke Sweat of United States 2-0 (21-14, 21-17).  More  Español

Canadian women to meet in semifinals at Tobago

TURTLE BEACH, Tobago, November 21, 2015 – The two Canadian women’s teams taking part in the Tobago Beach Volleyball Tournament, the final event of the 2015 NORCECA Circuit, will face each other in one of Sunday’s semifinals. Melissa Humana and Taylor Pischke will challenge compatriots Jamie Broder and Kristina Valjas in one of the final-four matches while the other semifinal will see USA’s Lauren Fendrick and Brooke Sweat going against. Mexicans Ontiveros/Virgen are sensation in Tobago

TURTLE BEACH, Tobago, November 21, 2015 – Mexicans Lombardo Ontiveros and Juan Virgen capped a sensational day at the Tobago Beach Volleyball Tournament, the final competition of the 2015 NORCECA Circuit, by ousting the USA tandem of Jake Gibb and Casey Patterson 2-0 (28-26, 21-17) in the quarterfinals of the event. Tobago pools determined at General Technical Meeting

TURTLE BEACH, Tobago, November 19, 2015 – The pools composition for the seventh and final stage of the 2015 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit at Tobago was determine don Thursday night during the General Technical Meeting held at Grafton Beach Resort. Twenty teams per gender are taking part in the double-gender competition from Friday 20 to Sunday 22. The top two teams of each pool will advance to the single elimination main draw. More  Español

Parade of Stars in Tobago Beach Tournament

TURTLE BEACH, Tobago, November 19, 2015 – The seventh and final stage of the 2015 NORCECA Circuit is set to take place at Turtle Beach in the island of Tobago with a legion of stars never seen before in the history of the competition which started in 2007. The fact that the NORCECA final will count for Olympic qualification points as well as for participation has brought here top world teams currently battling for direct berths to the Rio de Janeiro Games.
