Northern NORCECA Battle Won by U.S. Men
NORTH BAY, Canada, July 3, 2016 - Although Canada was
well-represented in its home country tournament, the final match
went to the United States’ Marty Lorenz and Adam Roberts.
Lorenz and Roberts beat Canada’s Christian Redmann and
Felipe Humana-Paredes in three sets (21-17, 15-21,
15-9).
“It definitely was a battle. Christian Redmann is an experienced
player and he’s very calm and collected,” said Roberts.

USA Wins NORCECA North Bay Women’s Event
NORTH BAY, Canada, July 3, 2016 - In a North American contest
for the gold medal, the United States beat Canada today in the
women’s event at the Canor Molson Sand Centre near the
waterfront of Lake Nipissing.
Sara Hughes and Kelly Claes claimed women’s gold over Julie
Gordon and Brandie Wilkerson 2-0
(21-16, 21-13).

Canada and USA Men Shine as the Sun Comes Out in North Bay
NORTH BAY, Canada, July 2, 2016 - El Salvador’s beach duo of
Carlos Escobar and David Vargas could not break the United
States’ and Canada’s domination of the NORECA North Bay
Beach Tour event. Also known as Tato and Pepe, the
Salvadorians fell to Canada two times today in North Bay.

Canada and USA women dominate again in North Bay
NORTH BAY, Canada, July 2, 2016 - Comfortable conditions greeted
the players at the Molson Canor Sand Centre in North Bay,
Ontario on Saturday. The rain of yesterday seemed have moved on
and although breezy, it was much more favorable for athletes and
fans alike. The women’s event saw the Canadian and U.S. teams
dominate again today.

Top U.S. and Canadian Men’s Teams Prevail at North Bay
NORTH BAY, Ontario, Canada. July 01, 2016 - There were
challenging rainy conditions today the Canor Molson Sand Centre
on Lake
Nipissing in North Bay, but the top-ranked teams did not
disappoint on the beach courts.
Canadian and U.S. teams dominated in both the men’s and women’s
events.
In the men’s event, Miles Evans and Spencer McLachlin, the
top-ranked U.S. team, beat Canada 3 in three sets. More

Canada and USA Dominate Women’s event in North Bay
NORTH BAY, Ontario, Canada. July 01, 2016 : It was Canada’s
national holiday, but that didn’t keep the rain away from
the Canor Molson Sand Centre on
Lake Nipissing in
North Bay. Still the beach volleyball played on with
Canadian and U.S. teams looking strong on day one. On the
women’s side, previous medalists on the NORCECA circuit this
year (including gold at La Paz).

NORCECA Beach Tour Head North
NORTH BAY, Canada, June 30, 2016 – The NORCECA Beach
Circuit heads north again this year to North Bay, Ontario, at
the Canor Molson Sand Centre. This is the only North American
stop for the tour and builds on the success of previous years.
