NORCECA Continental Tour Final headed to Punta Cana
PUNTA
CANA, Dominican Republic, December 5, 2022.- Twelve countries have
registered for the 2022 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Continental Tour Final
to be held from December 9-11 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The
first stage of the road to Paris 2024 starts on Friday in Punta Cana,
marking the beginning of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Paris 2024 Olympic
Qualification System, which consists of a series of three NORCECA Tour
Finals (2022, 2023 and 2024).
After
completing the three Finals, eight National Federations per gender will
qualify for the 2024 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Olympic Qualification
Finals to be held in June 2024, where the winning National Federation in
each gender will qualify directly for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Each
NORCECA Beach Tour Finals (2022, 2023 and 2024) consists of 12 National
Federations per gender with a maximum of one team per National
Federation per gender, according to the NORCECA Continental Beach
Volleyball ranking.
The
teams competing this weekend will go through the preliminary inquiry and
the general technical meeting on Thursday where pool distribution and
competition schedule will be confirmed.
