Historic Triumph for El Salvador
MANAGUA, Nicaragua, December 1, 2025. – A brotherly embrace, of
teammates, of accomplices, of warriors emerging victorious from a
fierce battle. Then came the tears, the laughter, the phone calls
home, and the celebration. That is how El Salvador’s twin brothers
Yoel and Christopher Guardado lived the greatest night of their
careers in Managua. On Sunday, November 30, at Paseo Xolotlán, the
Guardado twins reached glory by winning the 10th stop of the 2025
NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour, earning the first senior gold medal
of their young career, at just 22 years old.

María González and Allanis Navas: Puerto Rico’s Warriors Who
Dominate the NORCECA Tour
MANAGUA, Nicaragua, December 1, 2025.– With seven gold medals and
one bronze in their eight appearances across the ten stops of the
2025 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour, María González and Allanis Navas
have asserted their continental dominance, breaking the
long-standing hold of teams from the United States, Mexico, and
Canada. They are Puerto Rico’s new warriors, continuing to make
history. “It’s a dream. We step onto the court never underestimating
any opponent; we step in as warriors, ready to win from the very
first point, no matter who is on the other side,” said María
González, a specialist in blocking and finishing points with power.

and Allanis Navas once again delivered a standout performance on the
sand, capturing their seventh gold medal of the 2025 NORCECA Beach
Volleyball Tour after defeating Mexico’s Susana Torres and Atenas
Gutiérrez 2-0 (21-15, 21-18) in Managua. With an impenetrable
defense and a serve that consistently disrupted the Mexican offense,
González and Navas reaffirmed their dominance over Torres/Gutiérrez.
González stood out with decisive blocks, while Allanis showcased her
remarkable defensive talent, “flying” across the sand to save balls
that seemed impossible against Atenas’ powerful hits and Susana’s

NORCECA Tour

Christopher Guardado wrote a golden chapter for their country by
defeating Mexico’s Miguel Sarabia and Inés Lares 2-0 (21-19, 22-20)
to claim the title at the tenth stop of the 2025 NORCECA Beach
Volleyball Tour in Managua. With
inspiration, grit, and unwavering confidence, the 22-year-old
Salvadorans made history by winning their first-ever title on the
NORCECA circuit, in a tournament where, for the first time, they
advanced to both the semifinals and the final. Christopher exceled with key blocks against Lares, while Yoel stood
out with spectacular digs to stop Sarabia’s attacks. Point by point,
the duo imposed their rhythm in the final, sealing the victory with

González and Navas Aim for Their Seventh NORCECA Tour Final
MANAGUA, Nicaragua, November 29, 2025. – Puerto Rico’s María
González and Allanis Navas continue their dominant run in the 2025
NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour and will aim to reach their seventh
final when they face the U.S. duo Katherine Reilly/Maya Gessner in
the semifinals at Paseo Xolotlán sports complex in Managua. González/Navas
have earned six gold medals and one bronze across the nine stops
held this year. On the opposite side, Reilly/Gessner enter the
semifinal boosted by their quarterfinal win over Canada’s Darby
Dunn/Alison McKay, champions in El Salvador and bronze medalists in
Punta Cana. The second semifinal will feature Mexico’s Susana
Torres/Atenas Gutiérrez, six-time medalists this season, against
Canada’s Devin Corah/Tiadora Miric.

NORCECA Tour in Managua
MANAGUA, Nicaragua, November 29, 2025. – The United States, Mexico,
El Salvador, and Canada secured their spots in the men’s semifinals
of the 10th stop of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour, held at the
Paseo Xolotlán sports complex. In the semifinals, the U.S. duo Lev
Priima/John Schwengel will face Mexico’s Miguel Sarabia/Inés Lares,
while Canada’s Luke de Greeff/Martin Licht will take on El
Salvador’s twin brothers Christopher and Yoel Guardado. The
quarterfinals featured intense matches, with Priima/Schwengel
defeating Guatemala’s Edgar Maldonado/José Izaguirre 2-0 (21-12,
22-20), and Sarabia/Lares staging a comeback to beat Venezuela’s
Juliangel Vargas/Esyenser Delgado 2-1 (18-21, 21-17, 15-13). De
Greeff/Licht prevailed 2-1 (17-21, 21-18, 15-9) over their fellow
Canadians Robert Kemp/Cameron Chadwick, while the Guardado twins
advanced with a 2-0 (21-17, 24-22) victory against Nicaragua’s Rubén
Mora/Dany López.

Women’s Teams Remain Undefeated in a Spectacular Opening at the
NORCECA Tour in Managua
MANAGUA, Nicaragua, November 28, 2025. – Seven women’s pairs
showcased their outstanding form on the opening day of the tenth
stop of the 2025 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour in Managua. Puerto
Rico, Mexico, Venezuela, Nicaragua, the United States, and both
Canadian teams displayed their full display of skills, making it
clear that the battle for the title will be intense. In Pool A, the
host pair Lolette Rodríguez/Socorro López defeated St. Kitts &
Nevis’ Hensley Philip/Shaylee Pinney 2-0 (21-11, 21-7) and then
topped the U.S. Virgin Islands’ Verneecia Caines/Verneeci Caines in
straight sets as well (21-16, 21-9). Venezuela’s Sara López/Darlin
Rodríguez also earned two-set victories, first against Verneecia/Verneeci
(21-10, 21-7), and later over Philip/Pinney (21-8, 21-6). On
Saturday, Nicaragua and Venezuela will meet to decide the first
place in Pool A.

USA’s Priima/Schwengel, Mexico’s Sarabia/Lares, Venezuela’s
Juliangel/Esyenser and Canada’s De Greeff/Licht remain undefeated,
showing their intentions of reaching the top of the men’s podium at
the tenth stop of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour in Managua. In
Pool A, hosts Rubén Mora/Dany López earned two victories. The first
was a 2-0 (21-10, 21-8) win over Jayden Sebastian/Tilokani Kush of
St. Kitts & Nevis, followed by a 2-0 (21-16, 21-13) victory against
Guatemala’s Edgar Maldonado/José Izaguirre. Maldonado/Izaguirre
defeated Bermuda’s Benjamín Barnett/Brandon Souza 2-0 (21-13, 21-7),
and later Sebastian/Kush prevailed 2-1 (19-21, 21-18, 15-13) over
Barnett/Souza.

The
excitement of the 2025 NORCECA Tour kicks off in Managua
MANAGUA, Nicaragua, November 27, 2025.– The tenth stop of the 2025
NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour is set to begin at the Paseo Xolotlán
sports complex with the participation of 32 teams, 16 in each
gender.This will be the penultimate stop of the NORCECA Tour ahead
of the Finals in Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic, in December. Only
the top-ranked teams qualify for the Finals, making it crucial to
secure the highest possible positions. The teams have been divided
into four pools of four, playing round-robin matches before moving
into an elimination phase leading up to the final.

Managua Prepares to Host the Tenth Stop of the NORCECA Tour 2025
MANAGUA, Nicaragua, November 25, 2025.– The Paseo Xolotlán sports
complex will host the tenth stop of the 2025 NORCECA Beach
Volleyball Tour, scheduled to take place from November 28 to 30 in
the Nicaraguan capital. This will be the fourth time that this
impressive venue welcomes the prestigious continental circuit,
having previously hosted editions in 2019, 2022 and 2024. A
pre-registration of 17 teams per gender, representing 16 countries.
