Fairbanks Takes MVP Honors, Maldonado Collects Four Awards at NORCECA Final Six

ZINACANTEPEC, Mexico, September 27, 2026.- United States setter Rachel Fairbanks was named Most Valuable Player of the 2026 NORCECA Women’s Final Six after helping USA capture its second consecutive title on Sunday at the Unidad Deportiva Juan Fernández Albarrán in Zinacantepec. Mexico’s Sofía Maldonado highlighted the Individual Awards Ceremony with four honors. She was named Best Spiker, Best Receiver, Best Server and Best Scorer. USA Repeats as NORCECA Final Six Champion with Perfect Record

ZINACANTEPEC, Mexico, September 27, 2026.- The United States successfully defended its NORCECA Women’s Final Six title, defeating Mexico 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-22) in the gold medal match on Sunday at the Unidad Deportiva Juan Fernández Albarrán. USA completed a perfect run through the tournament with a 7-0 record to earn its second consecutive title and third gold medal in Final Six history. ZINACANTEPEC, Mexico, September 27, 2026.- Dominican Republic finished fifth at the 2026 NORCECA Women’s Final Six after a convincing 3-0 (25-14, 25-14, 25-16) victory over Canada at the Unidad Deportiva Juan Fernández Albarrán.
