Fairbanks Takes MVP Honors, Maldonado Collects

Four Awards at NORCECA Final Six

ZINACANTEPEC, Mexico, September 27, 2026.- United States setter Rachel Fairbanks was named Most Valuable Player of the 2026 NORCECA Women’s Final Six after helping USA capture its second consecutive title on Sunday at the Unidad Deportiva Juan Fernández Albarrán in Zinacantepec.

Mexico’s Sofía Maldonado highlighted the Individual Awards Ceremony with four honors. She was named Best Spiker, Best Receiver, Best Server and Best Scorer. USA’s Eva Hudson received the Second Best Spiker award.

Puerto Rico’s Neira Ortiz was recognized as Best Blocker, while Dominican Republic’s Geraldine Gonzalez earned Second Best Blocker honors.

USA’s Ella Powell was selected as Best Setter, and Puerto Rico’s Dariana Hollingsworth received the Best Opposite award.

Dominican Republic’s Yaneirys Rodriguez earned two recognitions, receiving both the Best Libero and Best Digger awards.
