TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras, May 31, 2026. – American opposite hitter Mesa Jameson was honored as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Girls’ U17 Pan American Cup, held May 26–31 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Jameson’s leadership and consistency were decisive in guiding the United States to an undefeated championship title. She also received the Best Receiver award, underscoring her all‑around impact on the team’s success. Peru claimed two offensive awards, with Valentina Valera named Best Spiker and Fernanda Pinto recognized as Second Best Spiker, both instrumental in securing the bronze medal. USA Undefeated U17 Pan American Cup Champions

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras, May 31, 2026. – The United States was crowned undefeated champion  at the Girls’ U17 Pan American Cup, after defeating Venezuela in the gold medal match 3-1 (25-14, 25-16, 20-25, 25-20) in Sunday’s final at the Jorge Galeano Gymnasium in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. In their tournament debut, USA finished undefeated with a 4-0 record, while Venezuela claimed silver with a 4-1 record, their second medal in the history of the event after winning bronze in 2024. Peru Clinch U17 Pan Am Cup Bronze in Thrilling Third-Place Match

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras, May 31, 2026. – Peru secured the bronze medal at the Girls’ U17 Pan American Cup after a dramatic five-set victory over Canada, prevailing 3-2 (25-18, 21-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-10) at the Jorge Galeano Gymnasium. Mexico Secures Fifth Place at U17 Pan American Cup

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras, May 31, 2026. – Mexico claimed fifth place at the Girls’ U17 Pan American Cup after defeating Puerto Rico 3-1 (16-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-12) on Sunday at Jorge Galeano Gymnasium in Tegucigalpa. Mexico rebounded after dropping the opening set to finish with a 2-2 win-loss record in the tournament, while Puerto Rico closed in sixth place with a 1-3 balance. Puerto Rico started strong, racing to a 10-1 lead behind Arianna Pantojas, Elizmar Vázquez, and Anna Aquino. Effective blocking from Aquino and Carinialys Kuilan Roman kept Mexico’s offense in check, and Eliany Quiñones added a block over Evelyn Díaz to reach set point. USA to Face Venezuela for U17 Pan American Cup Gold

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras, May 30, 2026. – The United States advanced to the gold medal match of the Girls’ U17 Pan American Cup after defeating Canada in straight sets, 3-0 (25-21, 25-11, 25-17), on Saturday night. The championship match will feature two undefeated teams, as the United States and Venezuela battle for the title. The tournament marks the first-ever appearance of the U.S. in the Girls’ U17 Pan American Cup. Venezuela, meanwhile, captured the bronze medal at the inaugural edition in 2024 after defeating the Dominican Republic. The bronze medal match will be a rematch between Canada and Peru. Peru defeated Canada in four sets during pool play and returns seeking another podium finish after winning silver at the 2024 tournament. Venezuela Advances to Gold Medal Match at Girls’ U17 Pan American Cup

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras, May 30, 2026.- Venezuela earned a hard-fought 3-0 (32-30, 26-24, 25-20) victory over Peru in an all-South American semifinal on Saturday to advance to the gold medal match of the Girls’ U17 Pan American Cup in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Venezuela will face the winner of the second semifinal between the United States and Canada, while Peru will play for the bronze medal against the loser. The opening set was a dramatic battle that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Peru erased a six-point deficit (16-22) and fought back to level the score at 23-all. Valentina Valera and Kiara Lazo led Peru’s comeback with powerful attacks and solid net play, forcing the set into extended points. Venezuela advances to semifinals and will face Peru

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras, May 29, 2026. – Venezuela convincingly defeated Puerto Rico in the quarterfinals of the Girls’ U17 Pan American Cup, winning in straight sets (25-19, 25-16, 25-12) to secure a spot in the semifinals, where they will face Peru. The team coached by Ihosvanny Chambers showed superiority in attacks (42–32) and service aces (7–1). Both sides registered three successful blocks. Venezuela capitalized on 23 Puerto Rican errors while committing only 11 of their own. Yalesca Colina led all scorers with 17 points, followed by Fabianny Carima with 13 and Victoria Sanoja with 9. Puerto Rico finished Pool A with a 1-1 record. Dominican Republic (0-1) will face the United States (1-0) in its final pool-play match. The top two first ranked teams from the preliminary round advance directly to the semifinals, while the third-ranked first placed team advances to the quarterfinals.
