23 Teams to Compete in the Sixth Stage

of the 2025 NORCECA Tour in Manzanillo

MANZANILLO, Colima, August 28, 2025-  The Mexican Pacific coast is set to welcome the continent’s top pairs with the sixth stop of the 2025 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour, taking place August 29–31 in Manzanillo.

Following the preliminary inquiry, it was confirmed that the competition will feature 23 teams: 9 in the women’s division and 14 in the men’s division, representing a total of eight countries.

In the women’s field, Puerto Ricans María González and Allanis Navas stand out, with three gold medals this season in the same number of appearances—all against the local duo of Susana Torres and Atenas Gutiérrez, who arrive as champions of the most recent stop in Paramaribo, Suriname.

Joining the local pairs Jorman Osuna/José Cárdenas and Inés Vargas/Carlos Andrés Ayala in the men’s division are Puerto Ricans William Rivera and Diego Rosich, winners in Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas. Also competing are Timothy Brewster/Ryan Ierna of the United States, silver medalists earlier this year in Juan Dolio.

With this stage, Mexico reaffirms its role as a strategic host in the international circuit, adding up to four venues this year: Ciudad Madero, Manzanillo, Guadalajara, and Ciudad del Carmen.
