States beat Poland in straight sets 3-0 (25-12,
25-21, 25-16) in the women’s FIVB Volleyball
Nations League on Thursday.
The victory improved the Americans’ record to
5-1 with their only loss to undefeated Japan.
Alexandra Frantti had 18 points as the top
offensive weapon for the winners, followed by
King Rishel Madison and Nia Reed who each had 12
points, including one block,
Martyna Czyrnianska was the leading scorer for
the defeated side with just 12 points. |
