(49-42) but made 33 unforced errors to 21 by the winning team.
Azul Benítez, captain of Argentina, said: “We knew the match
would be tough and after winning the first set we knew that the
rest would be complicated and tomorrow we want to go out like in
that first set to get another victory.”
Yocaty Perez, captain of Dominican Republic said: “The attitude
is a very important factor and that’s what we lacked today in
our team. The Argentinean side is a good one and made very few
errors, very different than us as we failed too much. These
tournaments help us pretty much, we have been preparing since
the Pan American Cup and these tournaments help our growth.” |
