Comments:
Joaquin Gallego, middle blocker of Argentina: “It was a very
good match, we weren’t able to execute like yesterday against
Cuba. What’s important is the victory and even more in three
sets”.
Horacio Dileo, Head coach of Argentina: “After the first set,
Peru felt they had nothing to lose, the crowd helped them and we
lost our concentration. I congratulate Peru because they
performed really well. We had a scout of seven matches from Peru
and today they did things they haven’t done before”.
Daniel Urueña, middle blocker of Peru: “We need more confidence
and aggressiveness to close. At the beginning of each set we
were too cautious in our actions thinking of the Argentina’s
greatness, but we played as equals against an elite team”.
