day two at the Final Four U18 Gatorade Cup at Niño Heroe Manuel
Bonilla Coliseum of Miraflores.

serving aces 8-2.
Mauro Silvestre, coach of Argentina, explained he started
working with these players three years ago and the fruits are
showing.
“They are not too tall so we reinforced in the strength of
character and consistency in serve and defense,” Silvestre said.
“We have worked hard to have very clear those fundaments and
that’s what we used today.”
Walter Lung, the coach of Peru said. “In today’s match we worked
with players who are not regulars and this allows us to have a
complete evaluation of the team. Despite the outcome, we have a
lot of room to grow and learn before the world championship
because the girls are in the process of adjustment to a new
coach and I know they have a lot of potential.” |
