Ariel Sainz appointed as Vice President of INDER
SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, December 6, 2019 – Ariel
Sainz, president of the Cuban Volleyball Federation and
member of NORCECA Board of Administration, has been
appointed as vice president of the Cuban Institute of Sports
(INDER), the highest official entity of the sport in the
country.
Sainz, who also presides over the Technical and Coaches
Commission of NORCECA, has had a long and successful career
in volleyball as player, coach and manager.
For the time being, Sainz will continue as president of the
Cuban Federation until the regular process is completed in
order to prevent any setback in the progress attained in
both the technical and administrative aspects in the local
volleyball institution.
President Cristóbal Marte Hoffiz expressed his personal
congratulations and on behalf of the NORCECA family.
“We are sure that from your new position in the Cuban sport,
it will be further strengthened, with your experience
developing the sport in your country”, Marte Hoffiz said.
“Regardless of the limitations of your functions in NORCECA
that come naturally with your new position, your designation
makes us all proud”, Marte Hoffiz said.
“NORCECA expects to continue counting with your wisdom,
experience and support in the programs under your
responsibility,” he added.
