USA’s Carli Snyder is MVP, Dominican’s Martinez best scorer

TIJUANA, Mexico, August 11 2012 — Carli Snyder from the United States was named MVP of the Norceca Women’s U18 Continental Championship, that finished this saturday at the Baja California High Performance Center.

Along with Snyder another player from the USA, captain Taylor Tashima received the distinction as Best Setter.

Dominican Republic’s Brayelin Martínez was named Best Spiker and Best Scorer. The best blocker of the tournament was Daniela Vargas, from Costa Rica, while Mexico’s Kimberly Gutiérrez received the honors as Best Libero, Best Receiver and Best Digger. The Best Server was Fernanda Bañuelos, also from Mexico.
