Authorities of Colima welcome players to the NORCECA Circuit

MANZANILLO, Mexico, May 30, 2014 - The Lanai and Malu Ball Rooms of the Grand Festival Hotel received the players that start competing on Friday at the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit.

Authorities of the State Government of Colima, the City of Manzanillo, as well as the NORCECA Confederation and the National Volleyball Federation welcomed the participants that will step into the court of San Pedrito Beach.

“We offer you all a warming welcome to this fourth stop. I appreciate the Governor’s effort to recover this stop and for the support of all the people of Colima,” said NORCECA delegate Mayra Huerta, who was accompanied by the Director of Competition Arnaldo Sánchez.

“We are in a great event, I wish you all the best and a lot of success,” she added. At the same time the NORCECA authorities appreciated the efforts by the Colima Sports Institute and its Director, David Ballesteros, as part of the Administration of Governor Mario Anguiano Moreno.

Among attendants were the Major of Manzanillo Virgilio Mendoza Amezcua; the Tourism Department Vice Delegate, Nicté Mujica; Colima Sports Institute Director, David Ballesteros and Gabriel Larios, President of the Colima Volleyball Association.

The NORCECA Referees Coordinator, Miguel Ramirez, was also present as well as the Mexican Federation representative, Joel Rivera Sandoval.
