Baja California Center presents successful Annual Report

TIJUANA, Mexico, January 30, 2017 – The NORCECA/FIVB Regional Volleyball Development Center in Baja California presented its annual report of activities corresponding to 2016, one that included three Regional Seminar of Mini-Volley.

The report was presented by Saul Castro Verdugo, First Executive Vice President of NORCECA who is also the General Director of Baja California Sport and Physical Culture Institute of Baja California and FIVB Board of Administration Member.

The Regional Seminars of Mini-Volley took place in March, September and December with 106 participants. Cubans Aries Sainz and Argelio Hernandez were the instructors in charge.

The Baja California Center also organized a successful Volleyball Your Way Festival on December 17 with 800 participants of both genders. The festival was supervised by Hernandez and Juan Cartagena.

Hernandez also was the instructor of the first activity of the year in January when a Seminar of Basic Fundaments on different positions took place with 56 participants.

Other activities included seminars for Middle Blockers, Liberos, Beach Volleyball and Volleyball Information System (VIS).
