Baja California welcomes NORCECA representatives
TIJUANA, Mexico, January 10, 2015.-
The Sports Organizing Commission works of the Norceca
Confederation began on Saturday at the Grand Hotel Tijuana.
The evaluation meetings will continue on Sunday and all week
long with the participation of other commissions with a
Technical Seminar.
Baja California Sports Institute General Director, Saul Castro
Verdugo welcomed the attendants from the different affiliated
countries. “I give you a warm welcome tho this sports organizing
commission meeting, wishing you that all the work to be done
here can be in benefit of volleyball development in our
confederation countries,” said the Institute Director.
“At the same time, I thank you for giving me toe opportunity to
share this greeting here in Baja California, Mexico, and for
having the chance to host this meeting in a city where we have a
development center certified by the Norceca Confederation,” He
added.
He also appreciated the Norceca President’s efforts, for giving
the chance to host four commission meetings. “We appreciate that
opening and confidence for designating us as hosts of these
meetings. We have four important commissions here, the most
important, the Sports Organizing area,” Castro remarked.
“I hope you enjoy your stay in Baja California. This Mexican
working group is here to help you and to resolve everything you
need,” He explained. “It is a great pleasure to have you here
this time and I hope this cannot be the last time to meet here.
