Barbados wins Caribbean match

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, September 7, 2016 - Barbados defeated French St. Martin in a Caribbean contest for seventh place at the NORCECA U-18 Continental Championship.

The CAZOVA monarchs cruised to a victory by scores of 25-12, 25-4, 25-8.

"We closed the tournament with a win, it is always good to finish with a win," said Shennel Pooler, the coach of Barbados.

Reanna James of Barbados was the best scorer of the match with 12 points.
