SAN JOSE, Costa Rica, August 28, 2015 – If you are in love with
volleyball and would like to be part of the development of our
sport, we kindly invite you to be one of the developers of the
Costa Rican Volleyball Federation and the International
Volleyball Federation (FIVB) within the program “Volleyball Your
Way Festivals” in collaboration with the Costa Rican Sport and
Recreation Institute, the Ministry of Sport and Public Education
				and the National Olympic Committee.

To be part of the working team you must have the desire to
serve, teach the volleyball basic techniques to kids and
youngsters. If you are a qualified technician or physical
education teacher, we invite you to be part of our staff.

The goal of this program if to develop volleyball and convert it
into a mass sport aiming to project and scout players for our
				present and future national teams.

The start of the program took place on July 18 from Liberia
Guanacaste with a group of “guanacastecos” avid to develop
volleyball with a clinic conducted by Henry Rodriguez and then
an active session with a group of kids from the region at the
court adjacent to the Edgardo Baltodano Stadium to put in
practice the items of the theoretical session.

For Edgar Alvarado Ardón, president of the Federation, the fact
of starting to develop the talent at a young age is an important
factor which can contribute to keep the kids and the youngsters
away from violence and drugs and to impulse their growth in the
				professional part.

Arelis Nuñez, former player and now coach for the National Games
of Guacimo, said volleyball was the tool that gave her what she
is today. “I was able to travel out of the country because of
volleyball and I got my professional degree because volleyball
opened the doors to a scholarship to study which was something
				difficult in my financial conditions.”

For Henry Rodríguez, member of the Costa Rican Federation and
leader of the program to develop our new prospects, commented:
“We need to work on training from the grassroot level the
players for our teams and national selections. This is only the
beginning for the future selections from the program 2025.”

That’s the reason we make a call to all those technicians and
professors with proper knowledge who want to collaborate with
the development of the new volleyball stars to join our team and
				contact to
