Beach volleyball coaches receive international certification
TIJUANA, Mexico, July 25, 2017 -Coaches from Mexico and Colombia
officially received their certification after completing a
successful participation in the International Beach Volleyball
Course held at the FIVB-Norceca Regional Development Centre in
Baja California.
After five days of work, under the instructions of Magda Falcao,
attendees were evaluated through their participation in
practical sessions on the beach volleyball court, and with the
application of a written test, prior to the closing ceremony and
the presentation of diplomas issued by the FIVB and the Norceca
Confederation.
"It was a very good experience, we were in a centre with a
tremendous capacity and with very good infrastructure, this is
motivating for everyone. There were very good communication and
progress in these days of activity registered here, " Falcao
said at the closing ceremony.
Development Centre´s officials such as Alberto Arreola's
Director of Operations were also present. Arreola, who is a
Norceca and FIVB member shared a message on behalf of the
Centre’s General Director, Saul Castro Verdugo and the Norceca
Confederation President, Cristóbal Marte Hoffiz.
"The attendees were here day by day working hard on the sand and
we are happy to have finished this course that is so important
for all of us," he emphasized. "Our authorities are glad about
the fact that you have taken this course, and also for the fact
that people came from several states and other countries."
Among those attending the course was the twice-Olympic
competitor and Pan-American Games silver medalist, Mayra
Garcia, as well as Colombian coaches Gustavo Mendoza and
Fernando Echeverry. "The contributions were very good, our
instructor transmitted a lot of knowledge that will serve us in
our clubs and leagues in our country," said Mendoza.
The Regional Development centre will continue with more
certification activities according to its year agenda. |
