Belize finishes fourth place

PANAMA CITY, Panama, July 31, 2016- Belize defeated Nicaragua 3-2 (25-22, 27-29, 26-28, 25-22 y 15-12) to finish in fourth place of the U23 Men’s Central American Championship on the last day of competition.

Belize could have finished in straight sets but Nicaragua kept on pressuring coming from behind in sets two and three while leading, Belizeans recovered quickly to win fourth and fifth sets.   

Belize completely dominated the blocking category with huge advantage over Nicaragua (11-2), in spiking and serves they shared similar numbers, with Belize leading kills (68-64) and Nicaragua serves (3-2).
