Belize's Francis Hauze Named MVP of the

Third AFECAVOL Men's Final Four

 

SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica, July 15, 2026. – Belize's Francis Hauze was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the third edition of the AFECAVOL Men's Final Four following a historic tournament in which his team captured its first-ever senior men's championship title.

 

Hauze also earned the Second Best Spiker award, while his teammate Kyron Sutherland was recognized as the Best Blocker.

 

Host Costa Rica collected five individual awards, including three for Gilberth Solano, who was honored as Best Scorer, Best Server, and Best Opposite.

 

Also, for Costa Rica, Justin Varela received the Best Spiker award, while Jeremy Vanega was named Second Best Blocker.

 

For Nicaragua, Miguel Castillo earned both the Best Libero and Best Digger awards, while Axel Gutiérrez was recognized as the Best Receiver.

 

Representing Panama, Astergio Díaz received the Best Setter award.
