stayed on track to defend their title and
advanced to Saturday's final of the 2022 FIVB
Volleyball Women's World Championship after a
victory 3-1 (25-21, 25-20, 17-25, 25-23) over
Olympic champions of the United States at the
Gliwice Arena in Poland on Wednesday.
It is the second time the southern European
nation will play in a World Championship final,
after winning the first four years ago in Japan,
while the Americans will attempt their sixth
podium finish by winning the bronze medal match
on Saturday. in the Netherlands.
For the United States, their captain Kelsey
Robinson scored 18 points, Andrea Drews 14,
while Chiaka Ogbogu and Alexandra Frantti each
added 10 points. For Serbia, Tijana Boskovic had
33 points followed by her teammate Bianka Busa
with 15.

the loser of the match between Italy and Brazil
