GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala, May
21, 2022. - Saturday was an inspection day as
the fourth edition of the Boys’ U10 Pan American
Cup is about to start in Guatemala City.
Members of the control committee
and the organizing committee of the event held a
joint meeting to ensure all is set for the
competition that kicks off on Monday.
NORCECA
Supervisor Ariel Sainz and the Competition
Director Carlos Enrique Santis, explained
general details about the tournament
regulations, training schedule, transportation
and lodging, stressing the importance that
Covid-19 protocols remain mandatory.
A full inspection of Guatemala’s
City Dome, as well as the accommodation
facilities, was carried out, with each NORCECA
delegate evaluating their respective working
areas looking ahead of the competition.
The eight competing teams will go
through the preliminary inspection on Sunday.
The Pan Am Cup offers three
tickets for the top ranked teams from NORCECA
that aren’t already qualified to the FIVB World
Championship. |
