Nascimento led three Brazilian players in double
figures with 20 points to heavily contribute to
Brazil's victory over the Dominican Republic in
the continuation of the Women's Volleyball
Nations League.
Brazil won 3-1 (25-9, 16-25, 25-18, 25-17.
Julia Bergman added 13 points in the victory,
including one block and two aces, while Ana Da
Silva had 6 blocked attacks among her 11 points.
Yonkaira Peña had 17 points and Gaila Gonzalez
added 16, including two blocks and two aces, in
the losing effort.
It was the third victory without losses for the
South Americans while the Caribbeans fell down
to 0-3.
