cause.
Lana Conceicao, captain of Brazil: “It is very important for our
team to end the competition with a victory. The first two sets
were very complicated but we were able to control their best
players and got the result we were looking for.”
Maria Alejandra Marin, captain of Colombia: “We played well all
the sets. The difference was minimal and we even had the lead
many times but couldn’t close at the end. We have to keep
working to overcome that problem.”
Mauricio Thomas, coach of Brazil: “Today our team played the
right way. We substituted some girls at key moments and those
who came in responded. That was the key of the game.”
Eduardo Guillaume, coach of Colombia: “After booking the ticket
to the Grand Prix, which was our objective, the team lost the
concentration and we couldn’t develop our game. Now we are going
to rest for a couple of days and prepare for the challenge of
playing in the Grand Prix.” |
