Comments:
Matheus Brispo dos Santos, top scorer of Brazil: “We were strong
in the first set; in the second we didn’t do well and they took
the win; but what’s most important i sour victory. We are
already qualified and we expect a tough USA after their win
today, they will be a strong opponent to close pool-play”.
Marcelo Fronckowiak, Head coach of Brazil: “We must recognize
that they are a great opponent, they have grown a lot, yesterday
they were brave beating USA; today they put us in a difficult
spot on various occasions and their coach has been working well.
We are a young team, they are passionate and generally speaking
things are turning out fine: serves, putting the ball in play”.
Daniel Nejamkin, Head coach of Chile: “First of all, it was a
good match, congratulations to Brazil, they were superior. I
believe Chile did a job and I am proud of my team; clearly I am
disappointed to have lost”. |
