Jackeline Moreno, captain of Brazil:
“It was our first match and as every debut we
were really nervous, that made us commit too
many errors and not make the right choices.
Kudos to Puerto Rico, they played really well.
But we made our debut with a victory and we are
really glad”.
Ivania Ortiz, captain of Puerto Rico:
“In the set we won, we tried to commit fewer
errors and play smart because Brazil is taller
than us; I believe our intelligence in offense
kept us ahead”. |
