Milena Miranda, top scorer of Brazil:
“The difficulty in the second set was our
consecutive errors, we were too anxious to close
the set fast. We’ve had several difficulties
facing the stronger teams here. Our approach,
our determination made the difference. Our
teams’ chemistry, our energy and dedication
improve with each match because we are
determined to take the gold home”.
Wagner Luiz Coppini, head coach of Brazil:
“We lost a set because of our errors; you can
give an adversary a truce, it was five errors in
a row because of our lack of concentration.
Dominicans had good attacks and blocks; we
played as planned, in our strategy set for the
game and things turned out well”. |
