CACSO Authorities receive NORCECA President in Veracruz
VERACRUZ, Mexico, November 9, 2104 - Authorities of the Central
American and Caribbean Sports Organization (CACSO) received
NORCECA President and FIVB Executive Vice President, Cristobal
Marte Hoffiz at the Veracruz International Airport.
With just a few days for the opening ceremony of the XXII
Central American and Caribbean Games of Veracruz 2014, scheduled
on Friday November 14, CACSO President, Hector Cardona and
Technical Director Humberto Cintron arrived to the host city.
Along with the Norceca President, Control Committee
Representatives assigned for Volleyball tournament operations
also arrived to Veracruz. The competition will take place in the
city of Cordoba.
Some of the members of the Control Committee who arrived on
Sunday were National Federations Director, Arateide Caceres, as
well as Dr. Rafael Lloreda, President of the South American
Volleyball Confederation (CSV).
Two South American teams like Colombia and Venezuela, who are
also located in the Caribbean region will compete at the
regional contest.
Volleyball tournament will be played at the Cordoba Arena from
November 15 through 30, beginning with Women’s competition from
the 15th through the 20th, and after that, Men’s competition
will start on the 25th and will conclude on the 30th. |
