CAZOVA Under-19 MVP goes to Barbados' Holder
SPANISH TOWN, Jamaica, July 29, 2019 - Dimitri Holder of
Barbados won two sectional awards on his way to winning the
Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA) boys' Under-19
Most Valuable Player (MVP) at GC Foster College of Physical
Education and Sport Saturday evening.
Holder won the award for best server and along with teammate Che
Taylor, was selected as best outside player. He was a dominant
player for Barbados, as they won they tournament.
The other player to win two sectional prizes was Jamaica's
Damion Smith who won the awards for best scorer and best
opposite.
Meanwhile, Barbados topped most of the sectional prizes with
Devonte Coppin winning for best server, Levi Padmore and Haile-Emmanuel
Turney winning for best blocker and Taylor for best receiver.
Jamaica's Devon Clarke was best libero and best digger was
Suriname's Enrique Tjokrodirijo. |
