Canada announces beach volleyball players

OTTAWA, Canada, February 9, 2017 - Canada’s national beach athletes have been officially named for the 2017 season.

After a record-breaking past year for Canadian beach volleyball; with three top-10 Olympic finishes and multiple podium finishes on the World Tour and NORCECA circuits, Canadian beach teams are again ready to take on the world.

"It will be very interesting and exciting to see how our teams perform early in the season and with several new partner pairings," said Canada’s beach volleyball team head coach, Steve Anderson. "We are carrying the support and momentum of a ground-breaking couple of years into the next Olympic cycle toward Tokyo 2020."
