Lodz, Poland, September 29,
2022.- The Canadian team got its first victory
in the Women's Volleyball World Championship at
the hands of the Kazakhstan team.
The Canadians vastly dominated in spikes
(45-21), blocks (11-2) and serves (5-0) to
easily defeat Kazakhstan in straight sets 3-0
(25-14, 25-16, 25-11). ).
For Canada, Kiera Van Ryk added 18 points, while
Hilary Howe contributed 12. For Kazakhstan, the
best were Tatyana Nikitina with 8 points and
Kristina Belova with 6.
The Canadian team plays again this September 30
against the Bulgarian team. |
