Canada lost to Thailand in Women’s League

QUEZON CITY, Philippines, June 14, 2022 – Thailand defeated Canada in straight sets 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 26-24) to start the second week of actions at the FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League on Tuesday.

The Thai team improved their win-loss record to 4-1 while the Canadian side dropped to 2-3.

The Canadians held the advantage in blocks (5-2) and serves (6-3) but committed 18 unforced errors to only seven by the Thais.

Pimpichaya Kokram scored 21 points to spearhead the attack for the winners, followed by Chatchu-On Moksri with 17.

Kiera van Ryk had 20 points and Alexa Gray added 13 for Canada.
