SOFIA, Bulgaria, June 21, 2022 – Canada defeated
Australia 3-1 (18-25, 28-26, 25-19, 25-18) in a
second week match of the FIVB Men’s Volleyball
Nations League on Tuesday.
Canada’s Stephen Maar scored 23 points,
including 10 in the fourth set, and teammate
Ryan Sclater contributed 16 points, including
two aces, for a Canadian side that improved its
win-loss to 2-3.
Each team had seven blocked attacks and
Australia led in serves 8-7 and attacks 54-53.
The Aussies, however, committed 28 errors to 23
by the Canadians. |
