Canadian Eckert to preside over Central zone of NORCECA

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, March 7, 2020 – Mark Eckert of Canada has been elected new president of the North, Central Volleyball Association (NCVA), the Central Zone of NORCECA.

The zone is composed by Canada, United States, Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

Eckert is joined in the Executive Committee by Jamie Davis (USA), Jesus Perales (MEX), Ariel Sainz and Mireya Luis Hernandez (CUB) and Ramón García (DOM) who were present at the meeting held on Friday in Santo Domingo.

The representatives of those countries discussed and received information about the projected calendar of beach volleyball for the year 2020 and also the volleyball calendar.

Also received a report of the first edition of the Youth Pan American Games to be held in Cali, Colombia in 2021.
