Cardona to conduct Seminar in Puerto Rico
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, January 26, 2020 - The Puerto Rican
Volleyball Federation will be hosting a Refinement Seminar
for its coaches conducted by the successful Argentine coach,
Carlos Daniel Cardona.
The seminar will be on Saturday, February 15 and Sunday,
February 16 at the Olympic Park Germán Rieckehoff of
Salinas.
“The works with coach Cardona will be divided according to
the levels of the participating coaches,” said Dr. César
Trabanco, President of the Puerto Rican Volleyball
Federation.
To participate in the Seminar, coaches must be affiliated in
the FPV and the spaces are limited.
Cardona has been one of the most successful technicians who
has led the national teams of Puerto Rico.
The natural coach of Rosario, Argentina was in charge of the
men's squad that achieved a 10th place in the 2006 World
Championship, sixth place in the 2007 World Cup, second
place in the 2007 NORCECA Championship and Gold medal in the
Central American Games and the Caribbean, 2010.
He also coached the women's team leading to its first
classification to the World Grand Prix in 2007.
