Carlos Lopez of Guatemala the Most Valuable Player at Managua

MANAGUA, Nicaragua, December 16, 2017. - Guatemalan outside
hitter Carlos Lopez was recognized with the Most Valuable Player
award of the men’s Volleyball tournament of the XI Central
American Games Managua 2017 at Alexis Argüello sport complex.
Carlos Lopez carried his team to win the gold medal after ten
years of not reaching the podium, also received the award as
First Best Spiker.
Christopher Navarrete of Nicaragua picked up the awards as Best
Libero, Best Receiver and Best Defense.
Costa Ricans Alberto Blanco and Javier Alvarez won the awards
for Best Scorer and First Best Middle Blocker.
Luis Membreño of Honduras finishes as Best Setter and his
teammate Watler Ornello was granted the award as of Second Best
Middle Blocker.
The Second Best Spiker was handed to Keith Castillo of Belize,
the Best Opposite to Carlos Rodriguez de El Salvador and the
Best Service to Jose Donaldo Ureña of Panama.
