Camil Domínguez gets Master Degree in Sports Sciences
CHICAGO, Illinois - Dominican volleyball player Camil
Domínguez, one of the setters of the Senior Women's Team,
recently earned a Master's degree from Concordia University
in Chicago, Illinois.
Dominguez carried out postgraduate studies in said higher
educational entity in Sports Science and Sports Leadership
obtaining high marks.
The outstanding national athlete had Cristóbal Marte Hoffiz,
president of the National Women's Project of the Dominican
Volleyball Federation as her graduation sponsor.
Previously, Camil studied and played for Florida Gulf Coast
University at Fort Myers and Lee University in Cleveland
where she earned a degree in Social Sciences.
Dominguez continued his professional training through a
scholarship that is part of the personal and educational
development plan carried out by the program by Marte Hoffiz
as a way to help the growth of Dominican athletes dedicated
to that discipline.
"We are very proud that an athlete trained in the National
Women's Project has reached this academic degree and we have
been able to contribute to it," said Marte Hoffiz. "This
represents a sample of the way we work concomitantly on the
sporting aspect and the educational preparation of the
players."
