of Chile: “We are
very happy. This victory was what we had been looking for during the
tournament, and today it was given to us. We played very well. Returning
to Chile and having to face the South American Tournament with a victory
is very positive for the spirit of the girls and for us as a staff as
well. We leave happy, and at the Pan American Games (in Chile) we are
going to fight for a medal”.
Beatriz Novoa, Captain of Chile:
“It is always good to finish a tournament with a victory. In this
championship we made a good demonstration, compared to other Pan
American Cups that we have participated in. Very happy for the group,
but we still have many things to improve. I gave the team everything I
wanted and what I could. I am very satisfied, but never comfortable. I
will continue training and improving”.
Pablo Acuña, Coach of Costa Rica:
“The important thing for us in these competitions is to analyze the
team's performance well. We got a lot of feedback on what we can improve
at the K1 level because I think it was a big problem. In addition, the
reception and attack from the serve. That is what we are looking for in
this tournament, to give us the indicators where we must improve to work
on them”. |
