The Chinese team achieved an easy victory
against Puerto Rico in phase 2 of the Women's
Volleyball World Championship.
China defeated Puerto Rico in straight sets with
a score of 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-21), being
superior in attacks (43-39), in blocks (12-7)
and in services ((6-2).
For China Yingying Li was the best scorer with
15 points followed by Xiangyu Gong and Yunlu
Wang who had 13 and 10 respectively. For the
Puerto Ricans, Brittany Abercrombie added 12
points and Stephanie Enright and Neira Ortiz
scored 8 apiece. |
