Wang Yuanyuan, China Middle Blocker - "We studied the previous
games of Dominican Republic here in Brasília, so we Knew what
they are capable of. Our team is young so it is normal to get
some difficulties, but we are happy that we won at last.
Now our goal is to enhance our skills practicing even more on
each week untill the Finals"Prisilla Riveira, Dominican Republic
Captain - "We had a lack of focus in key moments of the game.
Our reception did not work as well as in the previous matches
this week.
China played well and we did not make a good game. But the VNL
is a long competition and we still have more 12 games ahead of
us".Marcos Kwiek, Dominican Republic Head Coach - "We are sorry
that we lost tonigh, it do not feel good at all, but we need to
learn from this defeat. We missed the chance to add another
three points at the board, and that would be important to our
team throughout the whole championship. We knew that Chine would
be a tough opponent because they have lost the first two games.
We did not push the service as we should, it was a pitty" |
