Clercent takes
Most Valuable Player Award
GROS ISLET, St Lucia, April 28,
2013- Joseph Clercent of gold medal winners St Lucia was named
the Most Valuable Player of Pool J of the Second Round of the
NORCECA Zone of the 2014 FIVB Men’s World Championships
Qualifications, which concluded here tonight.
Clercent also copped the Best Server award. Other
awardees for St Lucia were Dayne Williams the Best Blocker with
18 and Servin Mongro as the Best Setter.
Emmanuel Fritz Mabou of second place Haiti was
the Best Spiker with 81. He was also the leading scorer.
Luis Morales of third place El Salvador gained
the award for Best Digger while Carlos Amaya, also of El
Salvador claimed the Best Receiver accolade. St Kitts and Nevis’
Kemoroy Percival was the Best Libero. |
