Coaches Course organized by National District Association

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, November 10, 2018 – A Level I Coaches Course for those interested in teaching the game of volleyball is currently underway in Santo Domingo organized by the National District Association with the coordination by the NORCECA/FIVB Regional Development Center in the Dominican Republic.

The course is conducted by Dominican coaches Wilson Sanchez and Juan Capellan and Brazilian Marcos Macedo.

The three-day course is attended by 35 participants and it will be repeated to give more opportunities as 199 registered for this first course.

The opening ceremony took place at the premises of the Regional Development Center and the course is being carried out at the Olympic Village of the Dominican Republic Olympic Committee.

Luis Mejia Oviedo, president of the Olympic Committee, Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, president of NORCECA and Angel Rivas, president of the National District Association attended the ceremony.
