Amanda Coneo, outside hitter of Colombia:
“We had a great game, I am very glad for the
team that’s getting back to competition in a
good way, the idea is continuing to do so.
Canada made some line-up changes in the third
set, putting things difficult for us and making
us come from behind, it was a good spectacle
closing like we did. Our long rally defense was
gratifying because when you score you show the
work”.
Layne Van Buskirk, middle blocker of Canada:
“We need to be more aggressive; we did a lot of
fighting. The little things just slipt a bit,
like pressing on the block and being patient on
defense. We are getting better with every game;
you can expect us to up our game in our next
performance”. |
