Dayana Segovia, top scorer of Colombia:
“We were well prepared to face Cuba, we did a great job for a positive result. More than technique, our unity and complicity when we play is our team’s strength; we understand each other well; it has been years of process that helps us to know us well. Cuba is not easy, we did our work, we studied them well”.

Antonio Rizola, head coach of Colombia: “We were expecting the victory because my team has been working well, focused and we are recovering players that we needed, that’s why the team has more confidence. I didn’t expect a decisive win, we thought it would be in five sets. With this victory we are in the position of winning our pool, but what is most important is that we are one step from qualifying to the Central American Games, our big goal, Colombia deserves it”.
